Spring Fling at Steamboat Bertrand Desoto Bend National Wildlife Refuge. Students are invited to learn about the sinking of the steamboat, make food that the settlers would eat, and experience spring bird migrations.

A week long camp for Nebraska students post 5th-12th grade who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and receiving special education services. A student must be in good standing and submit a 250 word essay about why they would like to attend camp and what they expect to learn.

The purpose of this camp is to help families build connections with other Deaf or hard of hearing role models, and Nebraska families across the state.
Who: Nebraska students birth through high school graduation who are Deaf or hard of hearing and receiving early intervention or special education services and their immediate family members.

This Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for students who have a hearing loss of 40 decibels or more offers youth the chance to compete in speech or sign language with the chance to win a college scholarship.

This conference is for parents and guardians, educational interpreters, and teachers of the Deaf and hard of hearing. Speakers include Crom Saunders, Tina Childress, Karen Putz as well as several Nebraska professionals and community members.
