Juggling Fun

This free activity is for SNRP students in Kindergarten through 7th grade who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing receiving special education services. Students will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with peers and Deaf or Hard of Hearing role models while learning about the art of juggling.  

When: Friday, January 18, 2024

Time:  Kindergarten – 3rd grade: 5:15 pm – 7:00 pm; 4th – 7th grade: 6:15 pm – 8:00 pm

Where: Maxey Elementary School; Lincoln, Nebraska

Family Weekend to Sign

This free activity is for families wishing to expand their sign language skills.  Parents will participate in workshops to learn conversational signs that can be used within their family routines and understand the importance of conveying emotions while signing.  Students will participate in a variety of activities while learning sign language.  Daycare will be provided for babies and toddlers.  

When: Saturday, January 27 – Sunday, January 28, 2024

Time: Activities will begin on Saturday at 10:00 am and end on Sunday at 1:00 pm

Where: Camp Comeca; Cozad, Nebraska

SNRP PEN PALS FLYER
Would you like to connect with a Nebraska peer who is also Deaf or hard of hearing?  SNRP would love to match you up with a friend to correspond with through our pen pal program!  This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with new friends.  In the future, you may also get the opportunity to meet your pen pal in person at one of our SNRP or statewide activities!
