At this activity, students will have the opportunity for a fun adventure! They will work as a team to complete activities related to self-advocacy, collaboration, and career readiness.

Who: 3rd-6th grade

Date: Friday, February 7th-Saturday, February 8th, 2025.

Where: Norfolk Middle School

Virtual Sign Language Classes

Nebraska Regional Programs are hosting a 6 week virtual sign language class.  There will be a beginning track and an intermediate track as well as an option to take the classes in Spanish.  

Date: Tuesdays; January 21-February 25

Time: 7:00-8:00 pm CST

Nebraska’s Conference on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education

This conference is for parents and guardians, educational interpreters, and teachers of the Deaf and hard of hearing.  Speakers include Crom Saunders, Tina Childress, Karen Putz as well as several Nebraska professionals and community members.  

Date: Friday, March 28, 2025 through Sunday,  March 30, 2025

Location: Younes Event Center; Kearney, Nebraska 

Cost: FREE!  There is no cost for the conference.
